Empire of Austria
The seated head of the Empire, Vienna holds the economic power of the Commonwealth. In 1917, after the Treaty of Venice, removing her from the war after a quick campaign, the Augsleich was held in Budapest. Austria implemented the Federal Plan, which recieved much Magyar disapproval, until Austria willingly surrendered control of Carniola, Tyrol and Salzburg, thus restoring harmony between the Magyars and Austrians. Now, she is the central economic and political center of the Empire.
Her current Chancellor is Thomas Klestil from the Social Democrats.

Kingdom of Hungary
Originally a conquest from war between Austria and the Ottomans, Hungary was given equal status at the 1867 Augsleich. At the fiftieth anniversary of said Union, Austria proposed implementing the discussed Federal Plan. Originally, the Magyars were extremely unapproving of it, and threatened to leave the Empire, until some days later, Austria agreed to surrender most of their Crown Land. Still under a PU with the Emperor of Austria, Hungary has become quite a powerhouse, providing most of the military manpower and experience. She also provides great tourism income to the Empire.
Her current Chancellor is Árpád Göncz of the Free Democrats.

Archduchy of Czechoslovakia
Formerly part of Cisleithania, Bohemia was granted it's own existance in the Commonwealth in 1917. For the last 73 years, Bohemia has flourished as an industrial hotspot in the Empire. Despite her desire to own Sudetenland, a Germanic-majority land, Bohemia has happily played along at every single Augsleich that occur every ten years. The Czech identity was strengthened, with calls of unifying the Czech Archduchy with the Slovakian Archduchy at the 1987 Augsleich, which the rest of the Empire refused to accept for now. In 1997, the Czech and Slovakian Archduchies finally unified, forming Czechoslovakia.
Her current Chancellor is Václav Havel, of the Czechslovak League.

In the year 1997, at the 13th Augsleich, the Bosniaks and West Serbs, unhappy with their treatment in the Empire, demanded a list of accruances, which the Serbian Archduchy refused. So, effective January 1, 1998, Bosnia and West Serbia departed the Confederation, and were subsequently dragged into war with Republic of Serbia.

Meanwhile, a group of discerned Croats and Slovenes along the Adriatic Coast demanded special representation, so, at the 1997 Augsleich, they were granted control of the Archduchy of Julian March...

In Romanian the correct translation is Federația Danubiei (Commonwealth of Danubia) or Federația Danubiana (Danubian Commonwealth)
