The Red Ensign [alt history]

The Red Ensign (French: Rouge Insigne, Welsh: Coche Faner) is the flag of The United Kingdom of Great Britain, Ireland and America established from 1803 to today. In 1783, when the Continental Congress and the British Parliament approved the Third Act of Reconciliation, "The Kingdom of America" was established under the rule of George III. This Kingdom was in Personal Union with Britain for 30 years before in 1803, the American people voted for Union, adding the Kingdom of America to the United Kingdom. Canada was later converted from a Crown Colony of the English Crown, to a Crown Colony of the American Crown.

The Red Ensign has become a symbol of equalism between the five crowns of the United Kingdom today, and is celebrating it's 210th anniversary of usage, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty's reign (coronated September 3, 1953, Flag Day in the UK).
