The Beatles (1969)

The final album of the famous 1960's band "The Beatles" was released in 1969 to much fanfare, as they had not released an album in 1968. Many had believed that this final album, The Beatles, was the amalgamation of three independent planned albums that were recorded into 1969. In 2001, the death of George Harrison revealed that this was indeed true, as three albums, "The Beatles", "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be" were in the works. All three of these albums were all felt to be "inadequate" to The Beatles, so they put them together to make the 1969 hit album, The Beatles.
